Credit Union Experience: Credit Union Member since 1975. Credit Committee member 2001 to 2003. Elected to Board of Directors 2010.

Education: Attended Western State College/Metro State College, focus on accounting. Practical experience through 44 years financial based employment. Attended numerous training classes/seminars directed to governance of Credit Unions.  

Employment History: Twenty-four years as a Financial Analyst in the aerospace industry. (McDonnell Douglas/Boeing/United Launch Alliance). Twenty years of additional financial experience with a land development company, Municipal Governments and Ethan Allen.

Reason for seeking a Credit Union of Colorado volunteer position: I have enjoyed the last 9 years on the Board of Directors. I want to continue the opportunity to maintain our record of excellent service to our current members and increase membership through innovative use of technology. I am excited for our continued upgrades with our mobile and online banking.

Credit Union Experience: Advisory Board Member since July of 2017 and a proud member of the Credit Union since 2005.

Education: B.S. in Mathematics from University of Colorado at Denver.

Employment History: Senior Demographer in State Demography Office with over 20 years of experience analyzing current and projected demographic and economic trends for Colorado. Assist local governments and local businesses in understanding and anticipating changing demographics and workforce.

Organizations: Member of the Denver Association of Business Economists and a member of the U.S. Bureau of the Census Federal State Cooperative for Population Projections.

Reason for seeking a Credit Union of Colorado volunteer position: I am honored to currently serve as an Advisory Board member and would welcome the opportunity to further contribute to the strength and member focus of the Credit Union through a Director of the Board position.

Credit Union Experience: CUofCO Board of Directors (2007-present, Chair 2009-present, Vice-Chair 2008) CUofCO Supervisory Committee (2004-05). CSM FCU Supervisory Committee Chair prior to merger with CUofCO.

Education: BS. ME. & Ph.D. Petroleum Engineering, CSM ’86, ’88, 2000.

Employment History: Colorado School of Mines Adjunct Professor, Interim Dept. Head., Start-up and Consulting Company Founder

Organizations: AADE, ASME, ACS, AGU, Pi Epsilon Tau, Sigma Xi, SPE

Achievements: 2018 Mines Inventor of Year, 2017-18 SPE Distinguished Lecturer

Reason for seeking a Credit Union of Colorado volunteer position: I would be honored to be re-elected to serve the membership and continue to work with management and my fellow volunteers to ensure the safety and soundness of the credit union. I believe the credit union motto of “Not for profit, not for charity, but for service” should guide our actions - we should always be “here to help”.

Credit Union Experience: 16 yrs Credit Committee, 9 yrs Board of Directors. Currently serving as Treasurer. 

Education: B.A., Economics, University of Missouri. M.A., Diplomacy and International Commerce, University of Kentucky. Ph.D., Economics, University of Texas.

Employment History: Retired 2014. Served 22 yrs in State Dept of Social Services and Health Care Policy and Financing where I developed and managed Medicaid programs. Health policy consultant. Taught health care economics at Colorado School of Public Health, University of Colorado Denver (21 yrs).

Reason for seeking a Credit Union of Colorado volunteer position: As an economist, I understand the financial and regulatory environment. I will use my experience to maintain the solid financial standing of the credit union so we can continue to offer loans at affordable rates, maintain low fees and provide exceptional customer service. I support online banking, mobile banking and other green initiatives. I look forward to contributing to our member-driven organization.

Credit Union Experience: I have served as a member of the Supervisory Committee for over twenty years and two terms on the Board of directors.

Education: A BS and MS in Physics and a BS in Accounting led to teaching at Metropolitan State University of Denver and have continued that activity for some twenty-five years as an adjunct after retirement.

Employment History: I served in the Third Regimental Combat Team of the Third Marines in the Korean Theater during that conflict, and built and operated radio stations as a licensee for the USMC using as appropriate a specialized radio teletype system which I had invented while in graduate school.
